Mark Wayne

Mark H. Wayne, Ph.D, P.E., serves as the Director of Application Technology and Engineering with Tensar. Prior to joining Tensar, Dr. Wayne served as a Senior Applications Engineer with a geotextile manufacturer, Polyfelt Americas. Dr. Wayne is a licensed professional engineer in seven states with over 25 years of experience in geotechnical and geosynthetic engineering. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D degrees in Civil Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He has also published and presented numerous papers on geosynthetics among other engineering topics.

Dr. Wayne currently serves on TRB AFS70 Geosynthetics Committee, Membership Secretary for American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM) Committee D-35 and as the Vice-Chair of the ASCE G-I Geosynthetics Committee. He is also an active member of the Deep Foundations Institute and the International Standards Organization (ISO).
