Cristina Alvarez

Cristina Alvarez is the HR Director for Tensar Western Hemisphere and Geopier, where she partners with leadership to support the people strategy, talent development, and overall employee experience across the business. She joined CMC in 2017 as an Area HR Manager supporting Fabrication and Field Placing operations and transitioned to the Tensar WH and Geopier organization in December 2024.

With more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Cristina has worked closely with teams across manufacturing, construction, and engineering environments. Her background includes talent strategy, organizational design, compensation, change management, culture, engagement & employee experience, post merger integrations, and supporting large-scale business initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is committed to fostering a collaborative, transparent, and growth-oriented culture.
