Jose Castro

Jose Castro is a Project Manager currently working as a Regional Sales Manager for Tensar based in Miami, Florida. Mr. Castro has experience and is well versed in the timely delivery of vertical and horizontal design and construction projects on budget while upholding a high level of quality. Some of the project categories that he has work on are water, storm water, roadway, cost estimating, erosion control educational facilities, commercial facilities, and water control infrastructure.

He has served in the ASCE Palm Beach and Miami-Dade branches since 2017. He has also served the Miami-Dade branch as professional development chair in 2021-2022 and Construction Institute Co-Chair in 2022-2023. In addition to attending numerous ASCE events at the local level, he has assisted in organizing some branch events such as the field day and the Annual ASCE Gala.

Mr. Castro is also an avid traveler and he also speaks fluent Spanish and French. On the weekends he spends most of his time playing pickleball, soccer, working out, and doing wakeboarding.
