Client's Challenge
An asphalt parking lot was being constructed over soft, silty soils. The original design called for undercutting and placing surge stone.
Tensar's Solution
Tensar’s FilterGrid FG60 was used to reduce the undercut and aggregate required, while also providing separation from the silty subgrade. A second layer of TX160 used as needed midway up the section to provide extra support in the softest areas.
