Veneer Stability

The weight of a soil veneer cover placed over a lining system in a landfill could cause a sliding failure, resulting in the liner’s rupture. This is especially true with soil veneers placed over steeper slopes.

Constructed from Tensar® Geogrids, Tensar Veneer Stability Systems can be installed to prevent the failure of a soil veneer cover placed over a liner system on a landfill side slope. The system supports the soil cover, reducing the tensile strain placed on the underlying lining system to ensure long-term stability of the landfill.
