SpectraPave™ Software

SpectraPave Software is an interactive design/analysis tool that incorporates the state-of-practice design methodologies for both flexible pavements and unpaved roads. The program features both design and cost analysis tools for evaluating and quantifying the benefits of Tensar® TriAx (TX) Geogrid for unpaved applications such as haul roads and working surfaces.

SpectraPave4 Software, released in February 2010, incorporates the unpaved haul road design methodology developed by Dr. J.P. Giroud and Dr. Jie Han and has been calibrated and validated for the new TriAx Geogrid product.  The program will enable you to utilize TriAx TX140 and TX160 to improve your unpaved haul road, working surface or construction platform by simplifying construction, reducing material requirements and costs, and extending service life, thus reducing life-cycle costs.

FREE SpectraPave4™ Software

SpectraPave4 Software offers a module for the design and analysis of unpaved haul roads and working surfaces. The Unpaved Applications module, originally released with SpectraPave3 Software as the Subgrade Improvement Module, is unique in its ability to model Tensar newest innovation in geogrid technology, TriAx Geogrid. As in the case with previous versions of SpectraPave, SpectraPave4 Unpaved Applications Module offers the user to analyze a variety of support and loading conditions as well as serviceability constraints for the design of unpaved haul roads and working surfaces. Upon generating output for a given fill thickness design, a comprehensive cost analysis may be generated to define the value proposition offered through the employment of TriAx TX140 and TX160 for a soft subgrade application.

Present users of SpectraPave are encouraged to download the SpectraPave4 in advance of the imminent release of Tensar's system-based software, SpectraPave4 PRO, which is slated for launch for the first quarter of 2010. This comprehensive, systems-based output software package offers users the full benefit of Tensar's knowledge and experience in analyzing both paved and unpaved applications utilizing Tensar's Spectra System Geogrids, TriAx TX5   and TX7.

Tensar International Corporation no longer supports older versions of SpectraPave which pre-date SpectraPave4. Accordingly, previous versions of SpectraPave™ Software and files saved using these versions are not compatible with the new SpectraPave4™. By installing SpectraPave4, you acknowledge that proper operation of SpectraPave4 Software is contingent upon removal of all previous versions of SpectraPave software prior to installation. Please do not install SpectraPave4 if you wish to continue using a previous version of SpectraPave™ Software. You can always install SpectraPave4 at a later date by visiting www.tensarcorp.com.
