The design approach utilized with Mechanistic-Empirical (M-E) design is a significant change from many previous design methods. A subject of great interest to many, the Geogrid in M-E Pavement Design webinar will discuss the need for testing, as well as the types of testing that are important to calibrate a specific geogrid for use within M-E design. Hosted by http://www.RoadsBridges.com and presented by Branden Reall, P.E., M. ASC, Tensar's Stabilization Product Manager. Branden is a 1998 graduate of Brigham Young University and is a licensed professional engineer in eight states. He joined Tensar in 2002, and in his previous work as a geotechnical consultant, Mr. Reall worked on hundreds of roadway projects and on local R&D studies addressing the performance of geogrids for roadway support.
